Support ACUSN today!

ACUSN has a number of funding and volunteer needs.  We are a growing non-profit organization committed to increasing the number of Arizona’s college degreed adults (25 and older).   You can contribute to this cause through our website or by contacting our business line at 623-580-4722.  Some of our current programs in need of support include:

Operation: Cap and Gown (See our video!)
Objective: promote a culture of educated Arizona families

When a mom, dad, vet or other experienced adult reaches graduation day, ACUSN wants to help them celebrate this accomplishment with their family and friends.   Our goal is to supply caps and gowns for 150 graduating experienced adults per semester.  Cost of program:  $50 per student, $7500 per semester.

Studentmom.com and ACUSN.org websites
Objective:  provide outreach and resources to adult students

Arizona has many nonprofit, education, and employer resources for experienced adult students.  Unfortunately, gathering all that information can become a frustrating full-time job for the potential student.  We are committed to find these resources and present them in an easy, time-saving manner through our websites.  Any financial contribution toward web design, hosting, upgrades, and maintenance is appreciated. We are also in need of web and community savvy volunteers to submit resource information to us.

WE RATE IT!  Measuring best schools for Arizona adults

Objective: conduct research and report on “adult friendly” colleges

ACUSN looks at Arizona post-secondary institutions to measure characteristics that support adults earning a college degree.  We measure cost, availability of services, variety of course options, campus resources, and more.  Volunteer research assistants (from around the state) for this specific area would help us increase the number of schools we can report on.

Thank you!  We can’t do it without you.
